Working on........

I am working on a couple of new paintings. Trying to stretch as an artist and do something that I do not normally do. The are Brenda Harris's designs named "Gramma's Li'l Angel" and "Grandpas Little Angel". I am working on an 8x10 sample before I complete the 16 x 20. I plan on donating to our schools auction. This picture is where I am now. Lots of details to add. It feels so good to be painting again!

I had a great time painting at Arlee's studio with such a worldly crowd, Brenda from Australia, Joan from Africa, Miyuki from Japan, Brenda and Jill from Florida, Jan from Maine, Cibby from Saunderstown and Arlee from Tiverton! I had a wonderful time painting with these fine ladies!

Haven't painted since Dad passed away. He was my biggest fan. I know that would make him sad but I really haven't felt like it. I am trying to inspire myself to get back to it! Another thing we both had in common was the love of beautiful flowers, I had planted some hibiscus plants in June and the first blooms have come out. I know my Dad would have loved these!
